Artist Holding Circle
Artist Holding Circle is a facilitated art therapy group for artists seeking space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their creative identity. Together, we’ll explore the inner landscapes that shape our creative lives through guided conversation, embodied practices, and shared presence.
This group emphasizes process over product, offering a supportive and confidential environment where creativity, emotion, and self-awareness are held with care.

Margaret Barrett
Margaret Barrett is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Associate. She grew up moving around the world, spent her teenage years in Germany, and has called Dallas home for the past twelve years. Margaret holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Baylor University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Amberton University.
With a background as an artist, Margaret brings a deep appreciation for creativity, exploration, and authentic self-expression into her work. She supports men and women navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, postpartum challenges, relationship concerns, and spiritual abuse, with a special focus on working with artists and musicians. Her approach centers on deep listening, thoughtful questions, and helping clients embody their truest selves.
Outside the therapy room, Margaret loves wild things—her three children, a front yard full of edible plants, creative expression of all kinds, and shared laughter on the front porch.
