Recap: Anniversary & Gallery Reception

Anniversary & gallery reception
thursday, october 23

On Thursday, October 23, Art House Dallas gathered with artists, patrons, and friends to celebrate another inspiring year of creativity and community. The evening featured our annual gallery exhibit showcasing the work of more than 20 local artists, alongside artist talks, live music, and a lively photobooth. Guests enjoyed delicious desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes as we reflected on the power of beauty and the transformation it brings. It was a joyful night of connection, creativity, and celebration with our incredible artist community.

Alexis Stone

Alexis Stone is a Dallas Fort Worth based artist whose passion for music shines through her powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting. Alexis brings her unique blend of intimate folk guitar, authentic country storytelling, and catchy pop melodies to local stages, connecting to audiences through relatable stories. When she's not performing or writing, Alexis is a fulltime elementary music teacher dedicated to sharing her love of music with the next generation. Whether she's performing a new original or a cover that has inspired her, Alexis Stone's music is a testament to the power of genuine storytelling and her deep-seated love for music.

Amy Jones

Amy Jones is a Dallas-based Christian songwriter who loves to weave faith and story-telling together in music.  For 12 years, Amy and her husband, Clark, played music together under the band name O, Loveland. Now, the two primarily find themselves leading worship in local churches on Sunday mornings and leading local worship nights, while still writing songs together. Amy is a mother of three little ones, and has been inspired by the songwriters who hold motherhood close, like Sandra McCracken and Ellie Holcomb.
