The presence and expression of the arts is the heartbeat of any great city. This year Art House Dallas is curating the Art/Music track for Dallas Startup Week. We will be hosting six events for all types of creatives in Downtown Dallas including a keynote address on the need for artists to think like entrepreneurs by Jim Hart the Director of Arts Entrepreneurship at SMU. Encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit and pouring knowledge and resources into the vast array of creative professionals is an essential need for any city to maintain its life and vibrancy.
This free track will be offered April 2nd – April 6th and features subject matter on the importance of creative community, the science of freelance visual art, the current state of music business in our city and independent filmmaking in the Dallas area. Join us as we sit down with thought leaders and influencers across various channels of art and music to discuss ways we can form, launch, and grow a sustainable artistic community and infrastructure in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Shoot That Here Panel Discussion | 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Join Dallas based filmmakers as they talk about the future of film in Dallas and keys to success for indie filmmakers.
