Yuletide Annual Christmas Shindig :: December 18th, 2015
Robbie Seay Band hosted Sandra McCracken, Thad Cockrell and Lauren Chandler for an evening of music and merriment benefitting Champions of Hope. Your attendance this year helped our friends at Champions of Hope continue the great work of pairing mentors with South Dallas students.
Jackopierce Christmas Concert :: December 6th, 2015
This all-ages event will take place on Sunday evening, December 6 at the beautiful, McFarlin Auditorium on the SMU Campus in Dallas, TX. In addition to Jackopierce, they will also be playing some Christmas classics with a full band and special guests from the Art House Family. Proceeds will benefit AHD and West Dallas Community School.
Earth Day Texas & Creation Sings :: April 25, 2015
At the Hall of State Stage in Fair Park, 1,000 booths filled with food and activity, served as the primary location of Earth Day Texas. This event was marked by several local artist including our own,Cary Pierce, and the Art House Dallas Photo Booth.
Little Boy :: April 23, 2015
In our ongoing effort to support creativity that encourages our culture, we are pleased to announce that we have sponsored a “theater takeover” for the release of the film, LITTLE BOY. Written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde, LITTLE BOY highlights themes of faith, hope, service and love in the face of adversity. Alejandro and Metanoia Films also produced the film BELLA in 2006.

Annual Event :: Dallas International Film Festival Panel
Art House Dallas, together with Film Matters and the Dallas Film Society, will will focus on messaging to children, tweens and teens; structuring an age appropriate story; entertaining young audiences while driving home a message that can change behavior or attitudes; marketing to young audiences and their parents; funding films that can IMPACT younger audiences and measuring IMPACT on behavior and actions of younger audiences.
Annual Event :: Summer Colors, A Silent Art Auction
Summer Colors, now in its sixth year, was an idea born out of passion for raising awareness about Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children; while also giving the Dallas community exposure to local up and coming artists. Jenny Grumbles, Loren Koziol, and Jill and Dupree Scovell founded Summer Colors in 2009 and have continued to grow the event over the past five years. The celebration takes place in the form of a silent art auction and a cocktail reception, featuring original pieces by local artists. LINGER Conference, Creative Training Day :: February 13, 2014
Linger Conference and Art House Dallas hosted a training day on Thursday, February 13th for bloggers, poets, authors, comedians, Bible study leaders, teachers, songwriters, and worship leaders to meet and learn from one another. The event opened and closed with worship and a keynote from nationally known artists & speakers such as Shane & Shane, Esther Havens, Phil Wickham, Jen Wilkin, Bethany Dillion & more! The Impact of Art on Culture :: December 1, 2013
Art House Dallas joined the Bible & Beer Consortium [BBC] at the Prophet Bar on December 1st for evening discussing on the importance of art in society today. BBC is true dialogical preaching, not a monologue that has no interaction, but the model repeatedly displayed throughout the New Testament as Jesus and the Apostle Paul preached and spectators were immediately able to interact and ask questions related to the message shared! Our upcoming gathering will consider The Impact of Art on Culture. Guest speakers are Ron Cheek and Music by Mark Philpot! Date: Sunday, December 1st

Giant Christmas Soiree :: December 19, 2012
Why not enjoy the holidays with organizations that want to celebrate with you! Join Art House Dallas, Walk the Light, Deep Ellum Outdoor Market, Reap Marketing, Traffick911, and CreateGate at the Foundry this Wednesday, December 19 for one GIANT Christmas Soiree. The Dallas Family Band will be there to entertain the masses with live music too. We'll have an Angel-tree of sorts with small gift-priced donations for the safe house Triumph House at Traffick911 (ranging from $3 to $30 for things like shampoo or pajamas)! Artist v. Architect :: November 3, 2012
Inspired by the ingenuity of today’s artistic and design professionals, Artist vs. Architect will be coming to Dallas this fall as the first-annual one-of-a-kind art competition and silent auction benefiting Dwell with Dignity. Set to take place on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 7 - 11 p.m. on the 19th Floor of the historic Saint Paul Place, Artist vs. Architect will serve as a platform to celebrate the creativity of the modern world of design and architecture. Focusing on a central theme in support of the heartbeat of the chosen beneficiary, Dwell with Dignity, each contestant chosen for Artist vs. Architect will showcase works reflecting their mission to “Escape Poverty.”
HYPE Photography Show :: December 22, 2011
HYPE is a holiday party thrown by a family of artists with the simple purpose of bringing friends together to experience, interact with, and purchase new art, while listening to good music, and enjoying community. Throughout the course of the evening, artwork from carefully selected artists would be up for auction — the majority of those profits will return to the the artist and the remainder will benefit Fuel.ph, a charity in the Philippines. 100% of profits from the door & bar will be donated to Fuel.ph. The showing and auction will be hosted in the old Dallas Power and Light building of the Cedars neighborhood from 8pm-12am December 22nd, 2011 in Dallas, Texas.
Help-Portrait :: December 17, 2011
We’re ramping up for Help-Portrait 2011 and are trying to make this the year we blow the wheels off this thing. To date we’ve given 101,000 portraits in 54 countries but we know there are many more people whose lives can be touched. Help-Portrait is a unique way for the community to come together and show people their value in a tangible way – with a portrait.
Balmorhea & Doug Burr :: September 29, 2011
Balmorhea (pronounced Bal-more-ay) is a six-piece instrumental group from Austin, TX. Founded by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller in 2006, the band has produced five full-length albums, including the forthcoming Stranger, which will be released in the United States in October 2012.

Air Review is a Dallas quintet. They played their first show in May of 2009. Their dynamic, versatile, and energetic live shows have landed them primary support slots for an eclectic group of acts including Portugal. The Man, The Boxer Rebellion, One Eskimo, Blue October, Flyleaf, Bowling for Soup and Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights.
Gather Photography Show :: September 6, 2011
On Tuesday, September 6 at 8:00PM, Church of the Incarnation will host an event in which the work of local photographers Lauren Larsen, Andrew Ryan Shepherd, and Shaun Menary will be both on display and available for purchase. By gathering for events like this, Church of the Incarnation seeks to be a present, active contributor to the developing culture of our neighborhood, providing better and more frequent opportunities to serve it through like events and the neighborhood ministries of the parish.
Sleeperstar :: April 11 - 15, 2011
Beginning in April, Sleeperstar will have a three-week "Artists in Residence" showcase at La Grange, leading up to the release of their new album. All show dates in April will feature amazing talent from Texas, Nashville and Louisiana. Each show has less than 200 tickets available and you must purchase tickets in advance to get in. The first 100 people (per show) will receive a new, limited edition Sleeperstar poster, which the band will stick around after each show to sign!
